Montsoriu Castle is considered the largest Gothic castle in Catalonia. It is currently owned by the Regional Council of La Selva, and is located on the edge of the municipality of Arbúcies and Sant Feliu de Buixalleu (La Selva) and  it's built on the buttresses of the Montseny massif. The location of Castle Montsoriu gives the building an impressive visual presence, and it has views from the coast and dip in the landscape up to the top of Montseny and the Guilleries massif. Archaeological work carried out over the last twenty years in Castle Montsoriu have uncovered an extraordinary collection of medieval objects, which you can see on display in the Ethnological Museum of Montseny.
