The two sections are divided by a red band.

The sun and moon (beginning and end) are at the top, with Christ in Majesty, framed by a mystical mandorla supported by four angels encircled by halos.

The second section contains five circles: the central one perhaps a monogram of Christ. There are two groups of six figures with halos at the ends (apostles with inscriptions) with their bodies turned and faces with almond-shaped eyes in profile, bowing and covering their mouths to express contemplation and silence. The scene is framed by curtains.

There is a zig-zag frieze at the bottom of the composition.
