The gardens that were in the upper terraces of the palace led to the cloisters. We have little information about this area. In fact, only a few graphic documents have come down to us, nonetheless of great interest thanks to the amount of information theyprovide.
In the centre of the main terrace there was a pond with countless fountains, surrounded by plants and wooden architecture. This recalls Andalusian patios, with a clear Muslim influence, where water played an important role.
