The piece that stands out most is without doubt the magnificent white alabaster fireplace from the Palau de la Generalitat de Catalunya. At first, Charles Deering had a fireplace from Jaca installed there, which the indefatigable Miquel Utrillo had acquired for him.

When in 1936 the Museum Board decided to move some of the collections of the Artistic Reproductions Museum here, among other things it was decided to place the fireplace in its current location.
