Ca n'Oliver Iberian Settlement and Museum

1. The Ca n’Oliver Museum and Settlement constitute a key heritage site on which to discover the Iberian Laietani culture. Over five hundred objects are exhibited, found in archaeological excavations of the sites of Cerdanyola, mostly from Ca n’Oliver.
\
\ The Museum is divided into two floors: the ground floor accommodates  the storerooms, the library and the technical section, while the first floor contains two exhibition rooms. The visit to the permanent exhibition ‘Cerdanyola, land of the Iberians’ is a journey on which visitors may discover who the Iberians were, how they lived, how they organised themselves and why their culture disappeared.
\
\ Additionally, in the settlement, inhabited between the 4th and 1st centuries BC, over 6,000 square metres of recovered archaeological remains and three reconstructed buildings may be contemplated. A walk around the settlement opens a door into the past, to the evolution of this Iberian settlement and the everyday life of the Iberians who inhabited these lands.
