The Argentona Pitcher Museum is devoted to the preservation and dissemination of an important collection of more than 4,000 water receptacles, most of which are traditional earthenware pitchers. So, it covers almost three thousand years of the creation of humanity, from the Bronze Age up to contemporary art, including several outstanding pieces by Pablo Picasso. In addition to the permanent collection, the Museum has given over one of its floors to thematic exhibitions related to  the world of the pitcher and reserves a room for temporary exhibitions of contemporary artists. The shop offers publications, reproductions of museum pieces and a wide range of ceramic products.
