Reus Museum is an institution that was founded in 1934, and ever since it has worked to conserve the material heritage, knowledge and raise awareness of the history of the city of Reus and its environs. It is a regional museum that aims to be a reference for the identity of its citizens through the interpretation of its historical legacy, showing the development and changes in local society, its outstanding figures, artistic creations and the most important events that have shaped the city's character.

Basically, we can divide its collections into three main areas: ethnology, history and art. All three reinforce the role that Reus has played as regional capital in its recent history.
