In 2003 the Museum of the Mediterranean was opened in Torroella, in an attempt to become an area for knowledge, reflection and research for the problems and worries that affect citizens in the 21th century. A place where music is the main focus of a discourse in which natural sounds and human sounds are used as a pretext to show the reality of the land and the people who live there.
