The Palau Foundation’s mission is to preserve, display and publicise the artand document collection of Josep Palau i Fabre. Of especial note is the permanent exhibition room, which features a collection of works by Picasso and attests to the friendship that the Malaga-born artist and the Catalan writer maintained for many years.

In addition to the permanent exhibition halls, the Palau Foundation organises various activities related to the visual arts and literature, as well as temporary exhibitions and the Poetry Festival in Caldes d'Estrac. “Poesia i +”, in the summer.
