A former manor house in the heart of the town of Alcanar that preserves part of its original structure and layout, as well as a magnificent collection of mural paintings, furniture and Modernist-style architectural elements.

The building houses a permanent exhibition of archaeological finds from excavations at the Iberian settlements of La Moleta del Remei and Sant Jaume-Mas d'en Serra, with an explanation of the development of the Iberian culture in the region. Particularly interesting is a set of indigenous ritual tableware that is unique in Catalonia. The exhibition is complemented by audiovisuals and other museum resources. On the first floor there is another exhibition explaining the more recent history of Alcanar.
