One of the most famous works of Josep Aragay is the set of tiles that decorate the Santa Anna fountain, in Portal de l'Àngel in Barcelona (1918). It is one of the most prized works of Noucentism ceramics. The Breda Museum retains the original vases that Aragay designed to decorate the fountain. This piece, inspired by the ancient Greeks and Romans, is varnished in green and manganese, and decorated with fruits and a knight engraved on the front.
