Façade of the Joan Abelló Municipal Museum, an Art Nouveau building from 1908, reformed in 1999.

The Abelló Museum hosts a portion of the collection that Joan Abelló donated the city of Mollet. It is organised into three floors and a basement. The first and second floors host permanent exhibitions and the ground floor has a temporary exhibition hall and showcase. The basement, which is intended for small shows and activities, also has a decorated room with equipped audiovisual projection equipment.

There are two permanent exhibitions: the first is "Modern art in the Abelló Collection, 19th-20th Century", giving a sufficiently broad chronological overview of the evolution of art from the late 19th century to the 1970s, and the second is "Abelló, A Selection" which features a survey of the different stages of the artist's oeuvre from the beginning of his career, strongly marked by the influence of his teachers, until the end of the 1990s, in full stylistic maturity.
