Rectangular seal for stamping ceramic pieces. It bear the following relief inscription: ‘P. VALERI / EURYALI’ (Publius Valerius Euryalus), probably the name of the owner.
This is undoubtedly one of the most notable archaeological items in the Museum. It indicates the presence in the area of either a pottery industry, or a business trading agricultural produce, or both. Furthermore, it tells us the oldest full name of an inhabitant of the town that has come down to us.
