This domestic sheep’s skull is an example of the importance that sheep and goats had in the livestock at Ca n’Oliver, as well as evidence of the importance of stock-raising as a complementary activity to agriculture. Sheep were exploited for their wool, to make cloth, for their milk to make cheese, and fortheir meat. Pigs, cows, chickens and, to a lesser extent horses, were also reared. Hunting, on the other hand, was not a very widespread activity.
