This iron pin or brooch was used to hold clothes in place. It comes from the settlement on the site of the Autonomous University of Barcelona and dates back to the early Iron Age. At that time, iron-working had just begun to spread across Laietània. Most of the objects manufactured with this metal were, basically, imported products obtained through trade with the Phoenicians and Greeks.
