Tupí found at the Mallols site.

Tupí found at the Mallols site.

A tupí is a container designed to heat or cook food beside the fire, moving it close to the heat source with the handle, which has been used since prehistoric times for its effectiveness. It was ideal for taking food to the countryside and heating it on the coals without the need for a kitchen nearby. This tupí comes from the Mallols site, an isolated dwelling from late Antiquity.
