Painted ancient Iberian jug

This jug is one of the forms most characteristic of pottery made on the wheel during the Ancient Iberian period. As is the style of decoration painted on the exterior surface of red fillets and stripes. Next to it, a bevelled cut lid which fitted perfectly on top. Both parts were held in place thanks to the perforated handles that a cord could be passed through.
