Musical instrument made on a lathe with jujube wood and brass, with five holes on the front and three on the back, made by Andreu Serra i Callicó (1882-1956), who was known as En Való d'Arbúcies, and which belonged to the flute-playing Clapés brothers. Arbúcies was the main producer of crafted flutes, and supplied the its surrounding area where countryside flute players played in rural festivals, with typical local songs known as "Caramelles" and "Goigs", until the 1960s. Since 1985, the Festa del Flabiol has this rich flute-playing tradition.
