Of all the items on display at the Ripoll Ethnographic Museum, a very curious dish and cup, called the exorcism cup, stands out. The name of Jesus is painted on the bottom of the cup and the name of the Devil on the inner wall of the cup. It was used to drink wine and while it was being filled, one had to say “Until you drown demon”, that is, until the cup was full, and while someone drank, the rest of the family repeated “Until Jesus sees you”, that is to say, until it was quite empty.
