The Carpet Room

The interior area of the ground floor –known as the Carpet Room– is the most spectacular part of the Deu Museum. In this spacious area visitors walk over a glass floor as they view the oriental carpet and salver collections beneath their feet. It is also worthwhile spending some time admiring the collection of religious carvings exhibited on the walls and the two display cases in which part of the Deu Museum’s religious gold- and silverwork collection is displayed.
