In 2004, the Mina Victoria was reopened as a museum mine. The visit to the operation is on a circular hiking route where the landscape and environment complement the tour.
The walking itinerary starts at the Bassa d'Arres lake, following signs showing a wagon. It is approximately a two-hour hike in which you can see the different elements preserved from the mining facilities (buildings, scales, galleries, etc.).
Halfway, we find the engine room, fitted out as a visitor centre, where we will be accompanied by a guide to visit the Sacòsta gallery (200 m long) and see the different methods of mining of the ore. From here, the route takes us through the upper galleries, back to the Bassa d’Arres.
We recommend mountain boots, water and warm clothes (inside the gallery, 9ºC).
