The toys on display in this room, which includes the sections "Playing outdoors", "Travelling" and "Animals", are very different from each other, but they all encourage movement. A common aspect of many of the toys in these three sections is the wheel.

In the display case for "Playing outdoors", there are 'sports' toys: bicycles, tricycles, scooters, hoops, ropes, skates, objects to play with on the beach, spinning tops, skittles, etc. These are toys that encourage physical activity and having fun outdoors.

In the display case for "Travelling", the exhibition shows toys that are reproductions of different kinds of transportation, built with a wide range of materials: electric trains, different types of cars, horse-drawn carriages, aeroplanes, blimps, motorbikes, boats, trams, and more.

Finally, the "Animals" display shows toys that look like animals: geese, cats, horses, elephants, etc. Most of these toys are made of cardboard or painted wood, with wheels to drag them along, or they work as a rocking chair. It is interesting to compare these exhibits with the pull-along plastic dog made by AmbiToys in Amsterdam in 1995, which moves its tail and ears as it is dragged.
