The turntable, one of the most emblematic features, was reinstalled in 2010.
In its time (1923) Móra la Nova’s turntable was one of the largest in Spain (23 metres long) and was used to turn the old steam engines round and place them on different tracks. It was dismantled in 1983 and has now been rebuilt with a turntable brought from Granada (specifically from the station of Puente Genil in Cordoba province). Duly restored and in its original emplacement, it is one of only two operating railway turntables in Catalonia and is included in the tour offered by the Móra la Nova Railway Museum.
