The Design Museum of Barcelona is the city’s design and object design museum.
The Museum has four permanent exhibitions displaying collections related to product design, fashion design, graphic design, decorative arts, textile and clothing arts, and graphic arts. It also hosts temporary exhibitions and activities that offer a critical reflection on what design's real contribution to 21st century society should be.
The Museum is located in the Design Hub Building in Barcelona, located in La Plaça de les Glories, between other emblematic buildings in the city, such as the Agbar Tower and Els Encants. The Museum has a Documentation Centre with a library and archive which provides information, conducts research and allows the viewing of a collection totalling 22,000 documents.
