This is one of the first cinema projector cameras to be commercialised, and it was inspired by the failed prototype designed by Georges Demeny in 1893.

This model allows 35 mm films without perforations to be projected. In the years that followed, it was upgraded several times. In one upgrade it was able to record and project films with 100-m reels.
