Nylon slip with straps, form-fitting and with seams sewn with an overlock machine. The cups, neckline in the back and lower part are decorated with mechanically made off-white stitching with floral decoration. In the 1950s, nylon revolutionised the manufacture of hosiery and undergarments all over the world. This new fibre had the appearance of silk but was much cheaper and longer-lasting, meaning that nylon quickly became popular. In Spain, the first hosiery manufacturer was Manufactures Antoni Gassol S.A. in Mataró in 1947.
