A straight-bladed sword from the Pedrera necropolis (Vallfogona de Balaguer - Térmens). The Diocesan and Comarcal Museum of Lleida. Lleida.

A sword found in the Pedrera necropolis (Vallfogona de Balaguer - Térmens) with a straight blade in the La Tène style. The absence of a precise context and the fact that its sheath is missing make it impossible to determine whether this is a weapon produced in these areas or imported from beyond the Pyrenees. The shape of the sword matches Celtic swords and indicates a stronger relationship with the Gallic world than with the Mediterranean coast of Iberia, where the falcata is the most characteristic sword. It can probably be related to the tomb of a warrior and dates from the end of the 5th century to the mid-3rd century BC.
