For those living in farmhouses and the village, hunting was a complement to their diet. Hunting rabbits, partridges and other animals required the use of specific implements. Cages that served to transport ferrets to the warrens to drive the rabbits out, lamps and apparatus for catching small birds at night; decoys or model animals to attract the quarry to the hunter and so on were just some of the hunting implements used at Masdenverge.
