This lengthy photographic report on the events in Fígols in 1932 was published on 27th January of the same year in La Vanguardia under the headline “Interesting notes of the latest attempt at revolution in Catalonia”.
The photos in the report were taken by Josep Casals and they show several moments of the revolt that shook some of the industrial hubs in Alt Llobregat. In the images you can see how a bomb is seized in the town of Berga and how the army is deployed in the streets and the area surrounding the colony in Sant Corneli.
