Carro de torn, second half of the 19th century, 360 × 192 × 167 cm. Museum of Rural Life.

The cart is a vehicle made up of a horizontal floorboard, with or without rails, atop two wheels with two arms to attach to the draught animals that pull it. The carro de torn does not have wooden edges but instead chains to hold the goods, which was usually casks or barrels, and it had a winch to lift them. This cart is displayed with a cask of wine on it.

This cart belongs to the Cooperative Wine Cellar of L’Espluga de Francolí, and it has been on display in this museum since 1988.
