The Igualada and L’Anoia Regional Leather Museum occupies two iconic buildings of the industrial revolution in Igualada, which was based mainly on wool and leather manufacturing: Cal Boyer and the former Cal Granotes tannery.
The collection at the Igualada and L’Anoia Regional Leather Museum may be classified into two distinct parts:
One consisting of the Museum’s permanent exhibition and displaying objects that may be seen during the visit; and the other comprising items held in reserve that may be displayed in temporary exhibitions or else studied in research projects.
