Statue-menhirs are large decorated sculptures that depicted figured characters, fully dressed and decked out with accessories. The original sculpture of the statue-menhir was around 7 metres tall, making it the tallest in Europe.
One of the best-preserved stelae is Seró I, whose motif depicts a grid-like composition on the rear with a curved band shape crowning it. The geometric motifs are associated with a piece of clothing, perhaps a woven tunic, whereas the band might correspond to some kind of headdress, such as a diadem.
