Museum of the Mediterranean

A sea of all

We have inherited a Mediterranean landscape and culture.

We have inherited a Mediterranean landscape and culture.

Today, more than ever, the Mediterranean has to overcome the fears that threaten its future and reconnect with the spirit of an open and friendly Mare Nostrum.

In the final room of the Museum of the Mediterranean there is a map of the Mediterranean where visitors can see and touch different instruments that are popular around the Mediterranean. The instruments have more similarities than differences. The relations established between the different peoples of the Mediterranean have lead to exchanges of instruments, as well as knowledge. Here you can listen to different recordings of Mediterranean singers and groups. We must see diversity as enriching.
