These dinosaurs were the true giants of the Earth during the Cretaceous Period, the last period of the Mesozoic Era. They spread across all continents, even Antarctica, because at the beginning of the Cretaceous Period there were still connections between continents that made this possible. Several types or species of Titanosaurus have been found in Catalonia, some very large, such as Abditosaurus, and others, curiously enough, very small.
