Can Riera house provides schools and the general public with documentation, services resources related to the struggle against the Franco regime in L’Hospitalet.
It includes the permanent exhibition "L'Hospitalet, 20th century", a documentation centre and a number of multipurpose spaces for consultation, workshops and activities, along with a computer room and an activities room.
The permanent exhibition includes archival documents and museum objects, and the computers contain a large selection of documents scanned from the archives, including letters, reports, municipal records, recorded interviews, photographs, newspapers, etc.
This new unit offers workshops, tours and other services and activities to schools, and other activities for the general public, within the framework of the Programme of Democratic Memory of the Department of Cultural Heritage and the museum's collections and the Municipal Archives.
