Large Bronze Age storage jar

Large Bronze Age storage jar

The large storage jar is a handmade spherical jar used to store food. This piece, adorned with multiple strands decorated with incisions, was found during the archaeological excavations of the Plaça dels Països Catalans (2010-2011).

We could say that prehistory is the "Cinderella" of Maresme archaeology, since most findings correspond to Iberian and Roman eras.
