There were many small salting factories in L'Escala, some with their own label and others without. Joan Callol i Callol salting factory, Ratxalet, located in the old port. The label in question, written in Catalan, is from before the Civil War, and is for pickled anchovies with a drawing of the fishing boats leaving the old port in L'Escala, and showing the Coastguard building, which was demolished in 1934.
