Wooden boat built by Vadoret in the shipyards in L'Escala during the early 20th century, with a triangular, or lateen sail. The sardinal fishing boats could fit two or three men, and with the nets they would capture shoals of fish, who would swim into the nets in the direction of the sun. Once caught, the fish and nets were put on top of the boat, and once at port, the fish were removed from the net and sold at auction.
