A bronze Etruscan helmet The front is smooth and lined, with circular apertures on both sides of the ears. In front of each hole there is another smaller one for the hooks that would have held the cheek protectors. At the top there is a pommel in the form of a lion’s head with an orifice running through it, probably to insert a crest.
