This piece has a form that was common in the early Bronze Age in Catalonia, but has a bell-shaped decoration (with advanced decoration for this type of bowl, with a five-pointed star and a double concentric crown at the bottom of the vessel
associated with the preceding period). This fact gives it a slightly more recent history within the early Bronze Age.
It was found fragmented in 1967 in trench number 3 on the La Riba site, corresponding to an open-air camp, possibly with temporary cabins.
