A view towards the Mediterranean: the Iberians and the Romans

General view of the room devoted to ’A view towards the Mediterranean: the Iberians and the Romans’

General view of the room devoted to ’A view towards the Mediterranean: the Iberians and the Romans’

The second part of the exhibition shows the traces that the Iberians and the Romans left on the region, from some 2,600 years ago (Iberian period) until the arrival of the Romans (2,100 years ago). The impact the Romans had on the Vallès area is evidenced by the items found at the sites of Salut, Can Feu, Castellarnau and Can Gambús. A magnificent mosaic from the 2nd or 3rd centuries features the figure of Neptune.
