This first part of the exhibition presents a significant sample of items unearthed in archaeological excavations conducted  on numerous sites in the region. The most important of these are the sites of Can Roqueta, Can Piteu and Bòbila Madurell, which provide information on the lifestyle of the first prehistoric communities to settle in the area.

The museum exhibition features materials from between 6,500 and 2,600 years ago, the reconstruction of a prehistoric cabin and an interactive multimedia display.
