Casa Duran

Casa Duran del Pedregar

Casa Duran del Pedregar

Casa Duran del Pedregar was built between 1578 and 1606. It has the features of both a noblemanor and a working farmhouse. It has conserved the wine cellar, the wine press and the remains of a soap factory for sizing textiles on the ground floor, and the main drawing room and bedrooms on the first floor, with mural paintings from the 18th and 19th centuries. The east façade was built on the site of the late medieval wall of Sabadell, while the courtyard coincides with the original location of the moat.

The house has been declared a cultural asset of national interest.
