The Sabadell Art Museum conserves a significant collection of original posters for the Festa Major and Aplec de la Salut de Sabadell, from the years 1905 to 1939. The coherence of this collection is remarkable and allows us to track changes in graphic design, from Modernism to Noucentism, from the timid art deco to cubism or expressionism.

The posters were chosen through a competition and follow traditional iconography: they always feature the shield and silhouette of the city and references to economic well-being and industry. Women are often the main feature, dressed according to the period as a Catalan Pubilla or as a woman of the world, the festivities were suggested by banners, Chinese lanterns and fireworks, etc.
