The Vas dels cavalls (Horse Vase) is a ceramic jar made on a potter’s wheel and decorated with white paint. This type of object is characteristic of the Iberian peoples of the indiketa area, in which Ullastret and its surrounding area were one of the main production centres. This vase is a unique piece, as its decoration includes a scene in which a mounted rider leads another horse by its bridle, alongside the more usual geometrical and vegetable motifs.
