Halberd of copper, (Girona), late Neolithic - chalcolithic, 2,200-2,000 BC. Archaeology Museum of Catalonia, Girona.

A weapon formed by a triangular copper plate inserted into a wooden handle, secured by three rivets. This type of weapon is commonly found in the graves of males from the El Argar culture (in Eastern Andalusia and Murcia). This means it is a rare find in this area of north-eastern Spain.
