Hairpin, bronze, necropolis of Can Bec de Baix (Agullana, Alt Empordà), late Bronze Age, 900-800 BC. Archaeology Museum of Catalonia, Girona.
Coiled hairpins are common amongst the grave goods found in crematorium necropoles dating from the late Bronze Age. This piece in particular is more elaborate, with the two ends doubled back on themselves in two coils.
