Visigothic buckle, 7th century. Conca de Barberà County Museum.

A bronze buckle discovered in 1967 in a cave on the Tossal de les Venes, a hill near the village of Rojalons in the municipality of Montblanc. Dated to the 7th century, during the Visigothic period, it is decorated with spirals and circles incised with a burin and is similar to other pieces of Byzantine manufacture. It is one of very few finds from this period made in Catalonia.
