An original stamp print for the front of a local one peseta bill of the Council of Cardedeu.
The coat-of-arms of Barcelona appears in the centre, crowned and with a bat (1800-1931), with a worker and a peasant invoking industry and agriculture at the centre. On the back of the note you can see the former Town Hall of Cardedeu.
The bills were printed by Gràfiques Unificades of Granollers and were the official currency during the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939).
