A front-loading musket characteristic of North Africa.

It was given to the MATBC by Francesc Camprodon, grandson of the politician Mariano Borrell. It was given to him by the soldier and liberal politician Joan Prim i Valls (Reus, 1814-Barcelona, 1870), known as General Prim, who had participated in the war in Africa (1859-1860). He most likely brought back this musket on his return, which he gave to his friend Marià Borrell, the owner of the Vilalba estate.
